The meeting point is Barcelona airport at 12.30pm on the start date of your tour. If you cannot meet at this time, please contact us and we shall make alternative arrangements.
Unlike our other trips we will be departing on the bikes from the airport so please try to pack in a way that make it possible to get equipped in the airport.
When the group is ready we shall set off for an (approx.) 3 hour ride through the hills to the south of Barcelona and on to our highly regarded chosen hotel at Zerta on the Ebre river.
If any riders require items such as radio based intercoms, maps or road books, please let us know before your arrival. We advise all participants to bring a mobile phone that will work in Spain.
Dinner is provided as part of the tour price at the hotel. (Please remember drinking and riding is strictly not tolerated!)
We are staying at this hotel for 3 nights and so days two and three are used for circular rides in the hills behind Zerta. People may also choose to use these days as rest days should they prefer.
We turn south again and head down to Valencia. Riders wanting to see the qualifying may choose a fast route along the motorway or we can take the normal country route down to Valencia. We are staying in Valencia for 2 nights and one evening will include a trip to the underwater restaurant at the Valencia acquarium.
Race day. We hav tickets for the west grandstands which offer great viewing of the impressive Valencia circuit. Watch out for fireworks!
A looping route back up to Xerta for our penultimate night. Again the hotel will be organising a special menu for us.
The last full day takes us back into Barcelona and a rare city centre stopover. We provide the final Farewell dinner in the heart of Barcelona.
The final morning bikes are prepared for the return to the DucatiTours' base and all participants are transported back to the airport (or any other local location if your holiday is not ending here).
