We meet at our Pisa airport rendezvousfor this 7 night tour of Tuscany plus a trip to the Misano Superbike round. This tour takes in many of the best riding roads of the area.

Motorbikes will be collected on the first day (early afternoon) followed by a 2 hour ride to the first hotel. Participants travelling from far-a-field, (who may be 'enjoying' jet lag) may prefer the option of being driven to the first hotel (your bike will be trailered to the hotel). The following days and nights will present many opportunities for some spirited riding and some luxurious relaxation.

This tour will include some motorway riding (after the GP) but concentrates on good country roads.

Days 2 and 4 will be relxed with as much (or as little) riding as you would like.

The Misano Superbike round is on the seventh and last full day of the tour.

This 7 night tour follows the itinerary below.

The meeting point is Pisa airport at 2.30pm on the start date of your tour. If you cannot meet at this time, please contact us.
From the meeting point you will be taken by minibus to the DucatiTours base for a briefing and allocation of bikes.
There are changing facilities available and there will be time to sort out any small items you would like to carry with you.

We set off for an approximate 2 hour ride to the first hotel in the just outside of the historic town of Volterra. All riders are provided with a radio based intercom for bike to bike communication, a route book and map. We advise all participants to bring a mobile phone that works in Italy. This first ride is completed in a group with the tour leader. The first hotel provides dinner for all clients as part of the package

The second day's ride provides optional area tours with our guide. Places to visit include San Gimignano, Siena or if the group votes for it a day trip to the Island of Elba (ferry tickets are an extra and bought on the day. Cost is around €20-40 euro)

We move hotel to Greve in the heart of the Gallo Nero region of Chianti. The route we take is less than direct and exposes some great riding roads to our tyres. Greve is a great base being within easy reach of the Casentino, Florence and Arrezzo.

Optional local area outings at speeds to suit the tourers! (Anyone embarrassing the guide gets to pay for the group's dinner). Our Reggello hotel remains our base for a second night.

Time to move on over the Appennines on one of my favourite biking roads. Great climbs and descents for 45km!!! The afternoon will be our targetted arrival at our Hotel, Casa Tentoni for night five.

Tickets for the Superbike round include access to the circuit for both the Saturday and raceday on Sunday. Our normal farewell dinner is translated to a "Toast the superbikers" dinner on the Saturday night at the Adriatic resort of Rimini.

Race day. Obviously the day will be spent at the circuit! After the race we have to set off for the longish (230km) ride back to Lucca for our final night. The DucatiTours team will meet us at our hotel with Pizza and beer!

The final morning bikes are returned to the DucatiTours' base and all participants are transported back to the airport.
