The most important part!
Ducati motorcycles, maintained to the highest level. Equipped to offer performance and handling you would expect!
Of course these bikes aren't ideal for carrying luggage - so we make sure you don't have to.
They are not the most comfortable vehicles on the motorways - so we will avoid motorways.
Ducati motorcycles like corners - so we will be doing lots of those!
Please remember we will be riding on public roads and that all riders must demonstrate common sense and safe riding. Our guide will is responsible for gauging the speed that is suitable for the group and the conditions. We ask you to respect the guide's opinions!
| Our 2008 fleet is made up of: |
|
 |
The mighty Ducati 1098 with a 'less restrictive' exhaust and a smattering of carbon fibre. Only Ducatitours previous clients need apply and until we can sort out the insurance issue, you will be repairing any/all damage to the value of the bike (Sorry!)
Producing approx 160hp, the best radial brakes on the market and Pirelli Supercorsa Pro, the speed is, shall we say, more than sufficient with braking and handling to match (which is lucky!)
An incredible machine. |
 |
It may no longer be the king of the road but our 999 is not quite your run of the mill 999.
We have 149hp (dyno verified), a full Termignoni race system, monoposto seat unit, full Ohlins suspension and, of course, a super sticky set of Supercorsa tyres.
The bike has a habit of spitting blue flames just to lighten up an otherwise exhiliarating ride

 |
The soon to arrive little brother to the 1098 with a number of modifications appropriate to a smaller bike, including (obviously) the new 848cc testastratta evoluzione engine, Brembo radial calipers (although not monoblocs) and a slight weight saving.
We will be equipping our 848s with steering dampers and of course our favourite Supercorsa tyres. |
|
The 749 represents a beautifully balanced compromise between power, weight and handling that remains usable on the public road.
The 749 also provides a level of performance and feel that makes it at home on the track on one of our track days/events.
We are currently phasing out our 749 motorcycles with the new 848 as they become available |

The cafe racer style of the Sportclassic Sport provides a fitting image for the great fun you will have when riding this bike. Although looking back to the sports bikes of the 60's and 70's the engine, suspension and brakes are fully modern and provide a riding experience that is hard to beat.
The engine may only boast a low-tech air cooled, two valves per cylinder twin but at nearly 100hp (92) and a dry weight of only 182kg you won't be short of power!
Our Sport is the bi-posto version allowing two to travel in style |
 |
If you prefer your classic lines to come with a little more comfort and a more relaxed riding position then choose the Sportclassic GT.
The same 92hp engine powers the same basic chassis but with slightly softer suspension and higher bars. The pillion provides plenty of room for a passenger and makes the GT one of the prime candidates on our fleet for two-up riding.

130hp from the 998cc Testastretta engine in a naked sportsbike boasting the Monster's original styling and legendary feel good factor. A choice for a rider/couple looking for a mix of everything, superbike power, sportsbike handling and braking, city bike comfort and urban cool style.
Standard but for the slightly stickier tyres tat allow you to get the most enjoyment from the bike and roads of our tours

In the workds of Monty Python, and now for something completely different......The Hypermotard 1100 provides a very different ride while maintaining the traditional Ducati features such as torque, handling, braking and style.
Let us be straight here, the Hypermotard is not the most comfortable long distance bike here but for point-to-point the overall 'grin-factor' will win the day (shame about the fuel tank range..... |
 |
We have the basic Multistrada and 'S' specification on offer of Ducati's most competent sport tourer. Plenty of space for two and we can even fit a top-box (if you really want) to provide the most flexibility of all our fleet.
The most comfortable pillion seat and probably the best comfort for the rider too but don't let that trick you into thinking hte Multistrada can't hustle with the best of them. Just short of 100hp and a not too heavy dry weight of 196kg are more than enough to propel the bike to high speeds and the long travel suspension will take the bumps out of even the worst road surfaces. |
 |
For somone looking for a mix between sports ability and touring comfort the ST3 provides the ideal compromise. The water cooled three valve motor provides a combination of torque and power ideally suited to the bikes character and role
The seat and fairing combine to give the best comfort and protection of all the bikes here |
Our signature fleet of sportsbikes and sports tourers are prepared for fast road riding with sports tyres and performance brake pads. Exhausts are generally standard (save the occasional Termignoni/Zard). Tyres are generally Pirelli Dragon Supercorsa Pro, Michelin dual compaund radials or similar.
When track riding is part of a tour/package we still expect to see riders demonstrating common sense. We will provide track compound tyres, ensure that brakes/clutch/suspension etc are in ideal condition and provide mechanic support to help with suspension setup etc. However you, the rider, remain responsible for damage to bikes under your control (and stating that you lost control before the accident is not an excuse!) (Available for 848/999/749/Sportclassic Sport/Monster/Hypermotard only)
Unlike other tour companies we offer high performance motorcycles designed, equipped and maintained to perform well. We require a declaration of riding experience from all clients and will stop people who we think are riding dangerously and/or without respect for other road and track users
Although superbikes are our 'signature' motorcycle, it is not the only bike we offer or the only way of riding. We know some riders are looking for more comfort, improved manoeuvrability or just a different style. If your riding style is more akin to these bikes do not worry, our tours and groups are designed to suit all riding styles and we aim to maximise enjoyment for all riders and passengers.
