"I thought I had sampled the best of riding over the past 40 years until I met Joe & Jamie outside Firenze. There is, quite simply, nothing like being on a beautifully equipped and maintained Ducati in the mountains of Tuscany and then have the good fortune of being with outstanding riders like those I was with. The turns are endless and nicely cambered, the surfaces generally excellent, the roads only lightly used and the exposure and scenery on the outer edge usually mind-boggling. These folks don't poke along and I was at my limit immediately enjoying what felt like trackday but that went on all day. If you dare to ride sportbikes like they are supposed to be ridden then this is the only place in the known universe, as far as I can tell, where you can really wet your whistle. To quote Arnold, "I'll be back!"
