"The idea of riding a Ducati around Italy sounded like motorcycling heaven to me but thanks to the hard work of Joe and Steve the trip exceeded my expectations.
The red 749 was the perfect companion for the twisty Tuscan roads chosen by Joe and around every corner there were stunning views of the Italian countryside. The pace each day was whatever you wanted it to be – slow to enjoy the views or not so slow to enjoy the roads and bike – you just had to choose!
At the end of each evening you arrived at a top hotel greeted by Steve – complete with beer and cheerful banter – before heading out for an evening of good food and drink accompanied by lively conversation. Sleep – then repeat for another day – excellent!!!!!!!!
Being part of the crazy Italian crowd at Vallelunga to watch the World Superbike races was the perfect end to the holiday (even if Toseland didn’t win!).
PS I cannot recommend the Irish bar in Bracciano enough – you have to witness them pouring a pint to appreciate how quick they are!"
