"I went for a long weekend for World Ducati Week 2007 with Ducatitours and they delivered a truly memorable holiday .
Steve Crowther picked me up from the airport and I was soon riding a shiny new 749S along fabulous routes expertly selected by Joe Charity . If you want to experience the real Italy, stay in excellent hotels with character, see some great sights and eat fabulous authentic food while riding well prepared Ducatis, Ducatitours deliver !
The group I was with really gelled and we all appreciated the efforts of Joe and Steve to make the trip so good. They were up before us all to prepare all the bikes and throughout each day were on hand to guide us on the rides, ferry around luggage to the next location and take us to some great restaurants (and they even arranged a wedding ceremony for two of the guests !! ) . They have both lived in Italy for many years and it was obvious they know the best places to go and see including some great twisty mountain and coastal roads where all we saw were the local bikers enjoying the dry lines .
On the Friday I went on a track session at Misano which was awesome. Joe disappeared into the distance on his 999S but I was more than happy lapping the circuit trying to remember the tips Troy Bayliss had given at a talk earlier in the day ! I wish I could have stayed longer but will be back ! I would thoroughly recommend Ducatitours to all bikers and for me this was the perfect long weekend option ."
