From the rendezvous point at Pisa airport this 10 night tour covers some breathtaking mountainous landscapes, some locations steeped in history and a mix of countryside that will amaze you with its diversity. We loop along the Ligurian coast, then round up towards Milan, entertain ourselves in the Alps and the Italian lakes before a loop through the Dolomites and the return leg down to Bologna and back to Lucca.

Motorbikes will be collected on the first day (early afternoon) followed by a orientational circular ride to the first hotel. Participants travelling from far-a-field, (who may be 'enjoying' jet lag) may prefer the option of being driven to the first hotel (your bike will be trailered to the hotel). The following days and nights will present many opportunities for some spirited riding and some luxurious relaxation.

This tour may include some motorway riding and concentrates on good country roads.

Day 6 may be used as a rest day, some private touring or for local area rides with the guide. Day 9 will also be a day of private circular tours or rest and will be in the Bologna area
