Our tours are guided tours /lead tours with a multi-lingual experienced rider. Although we do not offer motorbike hire tuscany or motorcycle rent italy, we are flexibile and you will be able to take days out on you own on our fleet of Ducati 749 motocycles and enjoy some freedom in the Italian countryside. We are preparing this sait for a full launch during March 2007 and will be offering motorbike tours to the World Ducati Week 2007, Italian MotoGP, 'Culture taster' trips, trips to Elba etc Please come back and check the site out soon!

The 5 or 10 night Winter Riding Centre holiday is based at a resort hotel in Venetico Marina, Sicily and offers riders a chance to get away from the winter blues and get back onto bikes in a warm climate. Each day there are guided tours on offer or you may plan your own itineraries. The hotel is very well equipped and we have no doubt that you will be very comfortable!

Motorbikes are collected on the first day (early afternoon) followed by an easy ride in order to get acquainted with the surrondings and the bikes. The riding centre tour allows participants to choose their own day trips or follow the guided tours to the island's cities such as Palermo, Agrigento & Siracusa plus a retracing of the old Targo Florio circuits from the fifties, sixties and seventies. The riding centre holidays work especially well for riders with partners who prefer some time away from motorbikes. Support staff are happy to taxi them to town and other surrounding locations. The roads and terrain offer many varied and interesting rides (generally medium speed roads) for those who want to use our fleet of 749s as they were intended! The weather during November is generally mild (warm by UK standards) and dry.

This tour has no motorway riding and concentrates on good country roads. How far you ride is fully down to you but the guide is happy to take you out for anything up to 450km (270 miles) per day!

This tour is extremely flexible leaving the clients to decide how much riding they want to do.

The meeting point is Palermo airport at 2.30pm on the start date of your tour (cheap flights are available from London Stansted to Palermo with Ryanair). If you cannot meet at this time, please contact us.
From the meeting point you will be taken by minibus, with your luggage, to the hotel which will form the base for the trip. Here we will provide a briefing and allocate the bikes.
There are changing facilities available and there will be time to sort out any small items you would like to carry with you.

The afternoon includes an optional c.2 hour ride around the local area to help you acclimatise to the location and the bikes. All riders are provided with a radio based intercom for bike to bike communication, a route book and map. We advise all participants to bring a mobile phone that works in Italy.

Venetico Marina provides an ideal location for our riding center tour as it offers all the facilities you would expect and good access roads leading around and into the island. For the first evening we have planned a group dinner (included in the tour price) at the hotel.

Each day of the riding center tour gives the riders the option of joining our guide for daily circuits or for folowing their own route. We will be organising a couple of Targa Florio circuit tours of the Grande Madonie (c. 92 miles)and the Piccolo Madonie (44.6 miles) where the local hero Nino Vacarella set an average speed of 102.209 kph to win in 1966 (the fasted win was in 1970 when Leo Kinnunen averaged more than 128kph in a Porsche 908. When you see the roads you'll agree that they were all mad! Echos of the Isle of Man TT abound but with better weather (average temperatures in Sicily in November are around 18C or 65F) and better food.

Other trips include coastal routes, a climb up Mount Etna (3320m high) or as far as the roads take us at least; and forays in to the heart of the island!

We also offer tours according to clients' choice. Tell the guide where you would like to go and we will sort out an itinerary.

For the last night a farewell dinner is organised (included in the tour price) in one of the finest restaurants of the town. Taxis/the support car will transport everyone.

The final morning bikes are returned and all participants are transported back to the airport..
